Lil Bro

Yeah I felt the same way about the article. It's similar to John McWhorters, who analyzes African Americans based on how he was teased and made fun of by his Black peers while growing up. It's sad also that these people, very intelligent, receive national media attention, because of the provocative things they say. I had it rough as times growing up, but not because of some spirit of anti-intellectualism in the African American community. It was rough at times because kids can be cruel. Black, white, etc., kids will find something to pick on you about if you aren't in their inner circle. It's amazing that so many talented Black professionals take something so common and make it out to be a statement of the fatal flaw of the race.
